Our goal is to help patient's have access to hyperbaric oxygen medicine at affordable rates while providing the highest standard of care.
Beth Meneley, L.Ac.
Beth Meneley is the wellness director and co-owner of OxygenWell Hyperbaric Oxygen Center. She is an integrative medicine practitioner, primary health care provider and licensed acupuncturist.
A firm believer in the power of oxygen under pressure to heal, she originally discovered hyperbaric oxygen therapy over 20 years ago during her research into integrative cancer therapies. Watching her father and brother lose their battle to cancer at a young age, Beth's passions led her to become a practitioner where she could create a place of integrated wellness and healing for her patients.
Beth was intrigued by the vast therapeutic applications of HBOT and credits hyperbaric oxygen in helping her restore her own health challenges. She is very well educated in hyperbaric medicine programs and can help patients and their doctors create a customized program to meet their wellness goals.
Beth received her Master's Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine graduating with honors from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in 2003. She is currently completing her doctorate degree. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of California Santa Cruz, completed the certification program with the Institute of Functional Medicine and Environmental Medicine for Healthcare Professionals. She is also a practitioner with Seeking Health Educational Institute with advance training in Nutrigenomics and also trains with MedMaps, The Medical Academy of Pediatric Special needs. She trained at the American Institute for Integrative Oncology and completed the Integrative Oncology Professional Training Program. She spends much of her time attending the latest integrative biomedical medicine seminars and conferences to best support her patient's wellness goals. She has advanced studies in integrative oncology, environmental medicine, immunology, Lyme disease, mycotoxins, autism spectrum disorders and epigenetics. She is the author of the Riley the Porcupine children's wellness book series inspired by her research in pediatric wellness and her son Riley.
Beth previously created and was the wellness director of Tao of Venus Wellness Center, a full-service fertility and wellness center that incorporated acupuncture, nutrition, nutrigenomic and functional medicine therapies, detox therapies and fertility massage.
She is available to help guide OxygenWell's patients on their wellness journey with hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Steven Kemp is a co-owner of OxygenWell and LA Hyperbaric Oxygen Center in Los Angeles. He is a certified Safety Director, Mechanical Operations Manager and certified hyperbaric oxygen technician, our safety and mechanical operations manager, licensed phlebotomist and is passionate about health and wellness. He has personally administered and overseen over 25,000 hyperbaric oxygen sessions to our patients at OxygenWell - LA Hyperbaric Oxygen Center.
Steven originally used hyperbaric oxygen to heal from a facial tumor that left half his face paralyzed and was able to see dramatic results from his sessions. He is passionate about helping people restore their optimal health. Steven's greatest joy is being a father to his ten year old son and finds great fulfillment in helping other families optimize the health of their kids.
Dr. Zayd Ratansi - Hyperbaric Advisor
Dr. Zayd Ratansi is a licensed Naturopathic Physician with advanced certifications in hyperbaric medicine, bio-oxidative medicine, low level light therapy, chelation therapy and environmental medicine. Dr. Ratansi received his BSc from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and Doctoral of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington in 1998. Dr. Ratansi currently works as the Medical Director and Naturopathic Physician for Wellness Without Limits, LLC in Florida and also holds an active license in California and Washington State as a Naturopathic Doctor.
Dr. Ratansi began his practice in 1998 where he served as the medical director for the first private multi-place hyperbaric oxygen chamber in Canada. For the next 6 year he oversaw and directed over 90,000 pressurized hyperbaric oxygenation treatments, and fine-tuned a one-month recovery program for some very debilitating conditions. During this time, he served for 7 years as the medical director at the HOC Health Centers in Canada and the United States.
Dr. Ratansi specializes in the treatment of brain injuries and other neurological conditions using hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Dr. Ratansi lectures worldwide on the use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for neurological conditions and has played a leading role in implementing protocols on the use of hyperbaric therapy in the mainstream medical setting. He also has been extensively trained in Environmental Medicine and has helped implement safe detoxification and cleansing programs along with hyperbaric oxygen therapy within the spa industry helping to advance Medical Spas throughout the world.
Of note, Dr. Ratansi is an active member and trainer for the International Hyperbaric Association (IHA) and closely works with the organization to help advance the field of hyperbaric therapy.
In his practice, Dr. Ratansi specializes in the use of bio-oxidative therapies, chelation therapy, intravenous nutritional therapies, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, low level light therapy, mild hyperthermia therapy, Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation (UBI) photoluminescence, nutritional biochemistry, and other naturopathic modalities. Patients have flown in from all over the world to experience his treatment protocols, reporting astounding results.
His passion is to help integrate science-based natural medicine into conventional practice, and currently works as the medical director for Wellness Without Limits, a US-based company that closely works with fitness gyms, spas, and healthcare facilities, to implement these protocols within their fields.
